My sister informed me that the absolute best time to go shopping for clothes turns out to be tomorrow, because yet another retail store is going belly up. Sigh. She's right, and I do need clothes for interviews and so on, but still.

I wonder if I can slip off and get a yule log for the table? We'll be in the area.... (Gotta find out when Whole Foods Tribeca closes, I guess.)

It is true that my sister informed me that Dress Barn is going out of business on the 26th. I have not confirmed this and, honestly, if they're going out of business the day after Christmas I'm doubtful about their supplies the day before Christmas, but hope springs eternal.
