Guess who has an actual, factual, working downstairs kitchen sink faucet?

Yup, it's me!

Other than the fact that those nuts were super hard to unscrew, and the fact that I originally put the faucet in backwards, it was pretty simple! (The under the sink area was disgusting, fyi.)

Next up - the toilet!

Plumbing work: One of the few times foul language comes out of my mouth, resulting in wife referring to it as plumbing words.

I had to replace my kitchen faucet about a decade ago. It took most of the day 'cause the old faucet nuts had fused to the threading. I had to break it apart. Many, many plumbing words came out from under the cabinet as I fought with it for a couple hours.

Since then, have replaced a lot of other plumbing, but I'm not touching the piping to the washer machine. I simply put up a sign after determining why our clothes were coming out hot after the final rinse. The idiot who installed the plumbing into the laundry area reversed the (pg-13) pipes! Hot is on the right instead of the left. Reverse the hoses and solved the issue....until we replaced the washer and the appliance delivery guys didn't pay attention to the sign.

Oh well done! I wimp out, we have a good plumber who had to do a major job for us years ago and a few little things since, and we trust to be fair.

Good things! Well done.

(Fixed something similar in my own house by applying mechanical advantage to tighten stuff up so it didn't leak. And have also done the replacing of a toilet gasket, so good skill with that, too!)
