I was relieved it was warmer today

though I recognize that's a silly term for a still seasonably cold day. But I could wear my jacket instead of my coat, and I like this new jacket a bit more.

I legit saw a girl out walking yesterday, wearing shorts. Er, it may be above freezing, m'dear, but it's still COLD.

not surprised by that first article, some great music came out in the 90's, better than most of the music that's popular now, which I think is god awful.

Nobody's censored the erotic writing I've looked at (and in some cases wrote myself)

Regarding the one about sex censorship, I think part of the problem is that the internet became part of the mainstream. I know I know, but it's true. It's a combination of corporations buying it out, and the mainstream finding it and not being ready for some of the things that are around.

Those pictures of the grossly misleading packaging are why we need consumer protection laws.

Although, I do think that SpongeBob ice cream is just perfect.

That's true and I understand that. I just wish some of them could do something like a local bakery here did a few years ago. When the price of flour went up, they put up a sign saying so and saying that that's why there's been a price increase in their products. I don't think it would work for every manufacturer, but at least the customer would understand.

I think bigger brands don't want to break the mystique of their product. Like a Disney movie, they must be seen to spring fully formed into the world from a magical place where your hopes and dreams come true. They don't want you to think about the pretty mundane components that make up their product.
