*sighs* More illogic.

But, first of all, why is it bad to be a vegetarian, but not neccessarily as bad to be takin drugs. The animals are gonna get killed soon anyway, even if you don't eat them. You're eating living things anyway you do stuff.

You're right. You'll die soon anyway, so I'll just kill you now, and improve the gene pool. That sound okay to you?

As for eating living things, well, no. By the time I eat them, they're dead things. Really and truly. At any rate, there IS a difference between things with nervous systems and things without - namely, that the things with nervous systems are more closely related to humans, and therefore eating them is that much closer to cannibalism.

Okay, that's a silly argument, but I'm in a mood

I'm not a vegetarian (I eat fish) but it's usually easier to say I am. But I came to the conclusion that in the spectrum from vegan to carnivore, everyone has the same rule for what they will and won't eat: we don't eat things that are too much like us. Some draw the line at vertebrates, others at mammals, others at their species or clan or family. My line is the shore: I don't eat things that made it (evolved, that is) out of the water.

You never eat raw vegetables? At all? (cf. http://www.livejournal.com/community/mock_the_stupid/1258615.html )
