My eating habits are absolutely terrible. I should try something like that and see if I end up healthier for it. But, my willpower is so low:(

I can vouch for it working.. the local grocery stores here carry only the tiny, squishy, bug-carrying varieties of fresh things, and though there's a farmer's market every other weekend, it's hard for me to remember to go. I used to eat much more fresh stuff, before moving to the Midwest, and I can't wait to get back to the West Coast where stuff is good again.

It just astounds me how many people have NEVER had raw fresh foods! This is a "big duh" for me; I was raised on a small garden. I know what asparagus, spinach, sugar-snap peas, and corn are SUPPOSED to taste like. I pick strawberries, raspberries, wild blackberries, and pears...and eat them right there.

People seriously miss out!

Then of course if I'm in a place where I can ONLY get pre-processed foods in all practicality, it turns my stomach into a writhing, gastric mess of pain and nausea.
