I enjoyed the article about undiplomatic street name changes, but kept expecting it to mention some of the things the New York City Council has done along those lines.

Awwww... Maya looks like a sweet little girl! So glad she got saved.

Those volume controls are a crack up..

Two straws a day is two Starbucks or similar cold drinks, or McDonalds cold drinks, or a juice from the convenience store and a drink at lunch, or... It is very easy to use two disposable straws every day, and it's easy to use more than that.

I was just coming in to say this -- each eat and/or drink out is, typically, another straw. (Plus there's juice boxes, and many milks.)

what the hell kind of doctor uses the word "butthole" in a professional context? did Beavis and Butthead go to med school??
(also, why did the writer of that article feel it necessary to describe the appearance of Kimberly Turbin? is that even slightly important?)

Sometimes doctors try to use colloquial language to sound more accessible. It sometimes works. And it sometimes doesn't.
