Well, I'm bored. Going to bed.

I've been so tired lately. *shrugs* Probably not eating right.

Anyway, before I toddle off to the land of nod, I thought I'd ask a question. What's the most unlikely thing you want to see happen in the Harry Potter universe?

Me, I want Harry to die, and Neville to kill Voldy. Not because I hate Harry (I think I'm the only one who didn't mind him being an angsty snot in the last book) but because I think it'd be interesting for him to die, a plot twist. Maybe he can come back as a ghost, I don't care, I just want him dead.

Djusk' a!

Nah, I didn't mind him being an angsty twit. It's just that from my perspective, he was a jerk from the first book onwards, so it wasn't shocking when the trend continued into classic "teen" behavior. (I actually liked that last book the best thus far, because other characters finally started reacting to what a brat he tends to be, and the author had him see how ugly that behavior can look from the outside.)

As for what I'd like to see most that's unlikely... I'd like to see Hermione tell Harry & Ron off for a variety of things (without breaking down into tears -- I mean just a straight out "you two are a couple of lazy rotten idiots, and you'll be lucky if you do anything with your lives" type rant, and have it actually affect them, rather than having them go "duuuuh, what was that all about? must be girl stuff" like they tend to do whenever she gets reasonably upset. :)

I read an interview where Daniel Radcliffe said that he wasn't sure, but he really felt like Harry Potter was going to die before the series was over. Something about him being so tied to Voldemort that he would need to die to get rid of him. Or something.

That's all I know. And I've not read any of the books, but I have seen the first three movies.
I plan on reading the books once they all come out (a long, long time from now), so if you are going to comment to me, please let me know if there are spoilers.

Unlikely? Terry Boot becoming more then just an obscure character.

I think Harry was supposed to be unlikable as an angsty twit-- and Rowling did a lovely job of it. He's always been a twit though, and things more happen to him than are caused by him. He's just not a perpetual things-happen-toer like Gaiman's characters tend to be.

I'd love Neville to kill Voldy. What do I want to see happen though? Sirius to stay dead and gone (I've got a sinking feeling he won't), Parvati to be more than a bint in the background, Cho to spontaneously combust and to see Hufflepuffs do something useful.

I'd love for Fred Weasley to suddenly come to life and whisk me off to Hogsmeade where we would marry and have babies and live happily ever after. And I would also be magical.

I'd say that's unlikely.

I'd like my theory to come true :0) That being, that Harry *is* Voldemort. I'd also like some reason to see a 'not too many years in the future' Hermione, so I can play her in the films :0P

I kinda figured that Harry was either going to die, or worse by the end of it all. JKR has said there may well be books after #7, but that they won't center on Harry anymore... Neville's probably the most powerful wizard of his generation; I figure his grandmother's done something to "protect" him for a while - here's hoping you're a bit close to what actually happens.

My money's still on Hagrid as the Half-Blood Prince, though...

I want Harry to die. I didn't mind his being a twit in the last book since I've disliked/borderline hated him since the very beginning. I just really don't like that kid! So either have him die, or have half the damned wizarding world covering his ass! With all the crap he's done he should have been kicked out of the school, and probably exiled, but nooooo, he's got the damned scar!

The Neville-to-kill-Voldemort theory is one I absolutely hate, hate, hate the thought of- because it means Harry and those around him have effectively been through hell for very little, since alright, Voldemort'd be gone and all, but there would have been much unecessary Suffering and Angst and Death Of Godparents. Of course, I actually really like Harry which does put me in the fandom minority.

I'd like Lupin back teaching, because he is wonderful and we love him, but I don't think it'll happen.
