It's the weekend, I'm allowed to post as much as you want.

Has anybody actually ever facepalmed? How about headdesked? I did the whole headdesk thing ONCE (and my that was painful), but on purpose, jokingly. Today marks the first time I've ever actually gone *facepalm* over something I saw. Not even something especially stupid. So, anybody else ever actually UNINTENTIONALLY do that?

I facepalm all the time. LJ is abound with stupidity. And bizarre, just-can't-believe-it, infuriating things.
Once, I threw down the mother of all reactions: the ever feared, but seldom seen, jawdrop-to-facepalm-transition-headdesk.
(Without removing the hand.) That's the only time I've ever headdesked though.

It's the birthcontrol communities-seeing 12 and 13 year old coming in think withdrawal is a birth control method, or wondering how many times they can have ECP in a month, etc. JTFTH right there. (Any age actually, but particularly when it's the very young.)
Or when women just don't understand how their bc works and freak themselves out over having "unprotected" sex when they are on BCP and/or using condoms. Either of those counts as protection, but I'd rather see that than the girls believing in withdrawal.
Sometimes I think I need to stop helping out in these communities, but then, I wouldn't be able to help out, ya know?

Yep, I've done both...the headdesk I've only done a few times, as the experience tends to be more memorable than the facepalming (which I am very certain I have done more times than I can count). :-p

I do facepalm, headdesk/other object on a daily basis. Sometimes as a joke. Other, more unfortunate times, not as a joke. I've done face/keyboard, but that was when I was frusterated and trying to finish an essay.
Its amusing. Verily.

I'm mainly a facekeyboard type. I like seeing what gets written.

Facepalm is a daily occurrence. Headdesk is just hyperbole. :)

I've facepalmed before, not as much as I used to but I still do pretty often. I've never headdesked though...

I facepalm as a regular basis. I headdesk sometimes, though it's actually more of a headkeyboard. And I jawdrop a lot.

Being an IRCop (think tech support for IRC, completely voluntary, and you get to deal with a lot of idiots) will do that to you.

I throw my headset at work. Does that count?
