It's supposed to get up to 90 today.

We're already all grumpy and snappish as hell. Ugh, ugh, ugh.

I sympathise. That's around the temperature our office has been the last few weeks. Ugh is definitely the word for it. Hope yours doesn't last so long!

Oh yeah, I forgot that in other countries summer is certain to last more than a few days/couple of weeks.

On the bright side, you'll never get that hot in the middle of winter - but our office did manage it one sunny day a couple of winters ago. (That was the winter our boilers were broken from the start of December to mid-March. To say that we were unprepared for the random OMGSOHOT day would be an understatement. I vividly remember sitting the gallery, sweat rolling down my back, talking to our reporter who was on location (about 5 minutes walk from our studio) and shivering in the cold. It was very strange.)
