Gah...

I was stupid. I was *so* convinced that my period was over in record time that I took out the pad and went to the playground with Ana... just in time for it to come back full speed and soak my pants. Not any visible part, luckily, but the underwear's shot to hell. And I'm pretty much stuck here until Jenn gets home and I can steal her comfy scooby pajamas to walk home in, carrying my sopping jeans (they're in the tub right now) in a bag.

Jenn, unfortunately, is probably heading to the hospital again. She got her period today, as she expected, but she also soaked through her pants. Twice. Through two different tampons, and the third one soaked through fast. Also, one would expect to see blood clots (and if you don't know that, you should) and instead it's all just bright red. So she's going to go to the hospital after she comes home.

Ah yes nothing like the old period fake-out :P That's scary about Jenn though -- last summer I had unexplained bleeding for several weeks, it wasn't fun.

I hate tampons as well.

That's why I don't wear them. (Pads are so much more comfortable.)

Ever wake up with a pad stuck to your inner thigh?

That is not too comfortable.

I know the feeling - it's why I stopped wearing pads with wings (which I only wore at night anyway.) I don't care how much the adverts claim it keeps them in place (normal pads stay in place fine...) all it did to me was make sure I could wake myself up every morning with the pain of ripping the wing off my inner thigh. Owieowieowieowieowie.

Yeah, I know. I have to stop using pads with wings. I use them during the day as well. I'm very absent-minded though, and never think to buy any without. I think that I might stop using pads all together, with the exception of overnight. I'm starting to find pads very annoying.

Oh, and you seem really cool :) Nice meeting you, for lack of a better way to put it.

I do? *Blinks* Erm, ok. Somewhat out of the blue, but I guess it's a good thing.

I always note your icon 'cos in a theatre piece last semester we used that song, and clips from the vid (the clip in your icon.)

Yeah, that was pretty random. I've seen you post in Con's journal before, and yeah, sorry. :P

I love the music video, and the band, really. Korn rocks my socks. Haha.

Aaaah, ok then. That makes more sense. 'cos otherwise it was like:

Me: Some comment about sanitary products
You: You're cool!
Me: Erm, police!?

*Grins*

Hahaha.. That's great.

I had a similar bleeding problem just over a year ago. I finally resorted to using a folded up tea towel just so I could get to the hospital.

I was admitted and they did a D&C because I had some fibroids. Then, to help prevent it happening again, they fitted a hormone coil. All this was done under general anaesthetic so I wasn't aware of what was going on - which was great because I'm a big coward.

Now I get very light periods but not very regular ones. Considering what they used to be like, though, it's a blessing.

Hope she's okay.

I usually have really light ones (2-3 days of bleeding and then 3ish of spotting) but really fucking massive clots. I think there's something wrong with me.

*huggles to Jenn* God I hope everything's okay..
