Oh, and apparently gloves do nothing for food safety. I could've gone my whole life without knowing that.

I learned that last one at McDonald's. I was waiting in line one day when another customer started kicking up a fuss because he could see the food-prep area at the back, and he saw that no one was wearing gloves. So a manager came out to talk to him and explained why gloves weren't the best thing for food safety.

On the food safety one, the one that got me most was that (oh, now it won't let me look at the article again) 50%? of workers don't wash their hands after using the toilet.

And I've read the dog poo one and I think it's awesome. What a great deterrant!
