I know from experience that it's very easy for kids who are frequently targeted for violence by other students to be dubbed 'troublemakers' and 'violent'. The thought that such kids, falsely-labeled because of desperate attempts at self-defense, might be put in a cage to fight like a dog against the aggressors they should be protected from... it's sickening.
