Oh, in other news, Ana has a loose tooth!

It wiggles! It jiggles! It'll fall out sooner or later!

She's worried that it might hurt to fall out (we assured her that it won't, although there may be some TOTALLY PAINLESS blood), and that it might hurt to cut a new tooth (I pointed out that since she's already had a tooth there, it's unlikely to hurt much, that I can't remember any of my adult teeth hurting as they came in).

Here's hoping it falls out soon :)

I don't expect the replacement tooth will hurt. Wisdom teeth, on the other hand, hurt like hell when they grow in. But they cut through gum to do it, and she won't have to worry about that for more than a decade, if ever.

I remember it hurting.

Also, a dentist-friend of mine told me that the larger a tooth is, the more it 1) hurts to come out and 2) hurts to come back in. The topic came up re: topher's double tooth.
