What the hell? How can putting a blind person in an enclosure be at all focusing!?

What the hell!?

I remember being in kindergarden and they used those three-sided things at the desks. Those were the worst. Didn't help me focus at all, it made me feel like an untrustworthy shitstain. Maybe that's where my sense of inadequacy comes from.

I meant deaf-- sorry. For some reason I put blind because I thought "he's deaf so he has to see what's going on, rather than hear."

Obviously I'm weird, but I remember thinking all the way back in first grade that I would be a lot happier in school if there were box-like partitions around all of our desks. I actually used to design them in my head while I tried (emphasis *tried*) to get work done despite the constant chaos around me!
