Wow.

Shocking news - sexist jokes breed sexism!

I, for one, am stunned and horrified by this revelation.

I think the article is written wrong -- when they say 'men with a high level of sexism' do they mean they were sexist to begin with, or do they mean men with recent exposure to sexist jokes?

You would think something so simple would be written better -- and the only reason I am picky about it is I think that important things like this should be written to the largest audience.

I wondered about that as well. If it was men who were sexist to begin with (which is going to be important, since we need to control for that), what measure did they use to determine this?

I'm not saying I don't believe the findings based on this, but this is exactly the type of thing doubters would use to poke holes in the study. Researchers should always be aware of these sorts of things.

True, very true.

I simply refuse to believe it. Clearly the researchers were all satanists trying to stand in the way of our god given right to make sexist jokes. I will pray for their souls.
