I always look at them, unless you happen to post them at a time where I'm off LJ for a while and so I never make it back to that entry. That's very rare though, so I bet I haven't missed any.
the baby has the biggest smile!! I can see now that they sort of look alike-it's usually hard to tell. then again, I'm terrible at telling when babies look like other (older) people...they just look like babies!
Totally agreed on the last. As I see it, there's only two basic baby builds: Cute baby and ugly baby. And nobody wants to be told they have an ugly baby, so you just have to pretend they're all cute :)
There's a few exceptions, of course - for example, Seth was not a cute baby, but neither was he ugly. He actually managed to get in a middle section of "handsome", and now he's quite cute indeed, at the tender age of three.
some babies are "he'll grow into that nose" cute ;) Like..you can tell they'll be reasonably good looking adults, but they're just not there yet. I didn't think my cousin was terribly cute when she was younger, but once she was between 1 and 1.5, she turned gorgeous.
By the way, I can make you some icons if you want. I just need to reinstall my photoshop when I go home tomorrow.
