I'm pissed. I am honestly pissed.

Well. Maybe just irked. I left the house EARLY to make sure I'd get to class on time. Instead, I get to sit in the train for 15 minutes because "we're being held momentarily by the train dispatcher". So I'm late. Could've been early, end up being late. Then, of course, when it's my turn to recite the work I memorized, the first 10 lines of the Bucolics, I stumble. I had them down cold on the train, but all of a sudden I can't get past "O Meliboee" without forgetting what goes next. And I knew it I knew it I knew it and it seems I didn't.

Oh well. Tina only had five lines, and not that well. Because I'm bored, I'll type them for you, and no I'm not doing a phone post this time:

Melobeeus: Tityre, tu patulae recubans sub tegmine fagi,
Sylvestram tenui musam meditaris avena:
Nos patriae fines, et dulcia linquimus arva;
Nos patriam fugimus; tu, Tityre, lenta in umbra
Formosam resonare doces Armaryllida silvas.

Titryus: O Meliboee, deus nobis haec otia fecit.
Namque erit ille mihi semper deus; illius aram
Saepe tener nostris ab ovilibus imbuet agnus.
Ille meas errare boves, ut cernis, et ipsum
Ludere, quae vellem, calamo permisit agresti.

What the hell ever happened to trains running regularily. I guess it's no use wasting energy on being pissed, but since I am bored off my ass, I'll waste the energy for you. :D

*hug* Haven't talked much in a while. I must make more of an effort to read/reply to your journal. :\ Sowwy Concon.

*hugs* I know what it's like to stumble like that, and it's not fun. Just last December we had to recite the Gettysburg Address, and I had it memorized relatively well but I screwed it up pretty bad near the end. I say relatively because, although not down cold, it was the best I could do considering I had only started memorizing it one or two hours before I had to say it. That might've explained the stumbling...

Sorry about it all, though. Hopefully you still got a nice grade, and I hope your professor understood your being late. *huggles*

Funnily enough, tomorrow (or later today, really) I've got to recite the pledge of allegiance in Spanish. :) Pretty short, so hopefully no problems.
