Every time I hear a quote about war from Bush from now on, I'm gonna substitute "peace" then. "Peace on terror" "we're going to attack Iraq to prevent peace" and so on...
And yet, both methods will eventually work. If you fuck enough, you will produce more virgins. If you fight enough, you will eventually produce world peace, albeit via the unattractive method of killing everybody off.
1. *shrugs* Around. Sometimes I leave out food at the door, and then collect the strays which show up. Occasionally I've found a smart witty friend at the smart witty friend store. I tell you, it's a riot in there around Christmastime!
2. Well, not everybody can be a genius. Some of us have to get into fancy schools via the old fashioned methods of bribery and getting daddy to do it. Life's sure tough for the not-so-bright!
3: yep, that. "YAY PEACE!" Well, the kind that I would consider "peace" anyway.
And considering some of the context, I'm certain a few of the "war = peace" insertions would make better sense, with his motivations and consequential results.
For my A Level in English literature we studied war literature. One of the poems which struck me the most and has stayed with me is the following. Your post reminded me of it.
From a German War Primer When the leaders speak of peace The common folk know That war is coming. When the leaders curse war The mobilization order is already written out.
Those at the top say: peace and war Are of different substance. But their peace and their war Are like wind and storm.
War grows from their peace Like son from his mother He bears Her frightful features.
Their war kills Whatever their peace Has left over.
On the wall was chalked: They want war. The man who wrote it Has already fallen.

And the Baby Bush toys are just sheer genius!!
I shall also have to mentally insert "peace" wherever he says "war."

No, really. I'm curious. What *is* the orbital velocity of the moon? What *is* the meaning of life?

I'm guessing we're talking double, not triple, digits.
