I was wrong. We're not all going to hell. This *is* hell.

Which at least explains the weather we've been having lately. I hate the heat...

Everyone and then some knows why torturing people is a bad idea. No, it's not because it's wrong (though that's certainly an important consideration), it's because 1. if you treat them badly, their counterparts have no reason to treat your people well and 2. torturing them doesn't produce good results.

*sighs*

And, in your weekly bit of TMI, I'm breaking out in a pimply rash all over my body. Doesn't itch, though. It's either non-itchy chickenpox, or I really need to do some laundry around here. Probably the latter. I keep putting it off, but then I end up with no clean clothes.... (This from the girl who is currently washing her hands at least once an hour because, I swear, when I do, the water turns grey, and I can feel the dirt on them.)

You said it's been hot lately. You could have heat rash.

I'd second this - heat can do weird shit to the body.

Though, doing laundry is good, too. ;)

The pathetic thing is that if our soldiers were being held in camps and tortured like that, our politicians would scream bloody fucking murder that they're not being treated IAW the Geneva Conventions.

That does sound a lot like heat rash. Wear loose fitting cotton clothing and keep well hydrated. It'll go away in a couple days.
