I mean, yes, they generally feel too fat (excepting the cases of those who are trying to make themselves too thin in order to be unattractive, which isn't that uncommon with molested girls), but it's more like...
Everything's out of control, and you don't get any say in anything. Your life isn't in your hands. But now, you can control something. You can control what you eat. And all of a sudden, you're stronger than the people who can't do that.
And then, as well, it's a nice convenient excuse for everything. Not happy? You weigh too much. Lose just five more pounds and all your problems will go away. (People who aren't sick think this sort of thing all the time, of course.)
