I think I just yanked up some potatoes.
From the other side of the fence.
I shoved them back in the dirt on our side of the fence, where it's actually dirt and not several inches deep worth of composted leaves over asphalt and we'll see what we see. I put them next to the compost where we weren't planning to plant anything, so no great loss if they die or if they're not potatoes after all.
