I don't think they do in school, but we've been doing them outside of school and Ana actually thinks it's fun. I emphasize with her that the point is to beat your last score, NOT to get them all done, and that if she COULD finish it in the time then it'd be too easy for her.

(However, little does she know I actually help her cheat a little. If it looks like she's struggling, I quietly keep the stopwatch running rather than let her know that time's up.)
