~ note -- not a lot of people actually work on weekends, unless they work at supermarkets, gas-stations (just part-time anyhow) or are workaholics. (Yes, there are more options) -- however, also note that in most cases, with Holland being as small as it is, most people use the 30-45 minute break they get at work to quickly get some shopping done and get an easy bite of food at the nearest bakery or other such things. Usually one does not have to travel more than 5 minutes in a car to get to the nearest place to get the essentials.
