You seriously think an 'at your own risk' would cover their asses and/or keep people from suing someone? And you also think that the only risk is sharp objects? As a person who goes barefoot a LOT, there is a LOT more than sharp objects out there to cause injury. And to assume that people who do step on things don't go barefoot, and so on.
