Ana has a bruise on her stomach. A large one.

With a bump on it.

This is all my fault. She was not walking, and yelling, so I picked her up, you know, so there's no chance of her deciding to hit or kick me and kept walking. And she slipped and fell, and that must be how she got it, and I didn't know, and I should have known, and...

Why does it have a bump in the middle? She says it doesn't hurt.

I think I might be taking her to see a doctor...the bump is what would concern me...would there have been anything that she would have fallen on?? Do she remember falling?

bruised rib, maybe?? I don't know...seem strange to have a bump.
Problem is, I am a "better safe then sorry" person, and as my husband says "I tend to overreact" sometimes....

Please keep us posted as she is....

Sometimes with the hussle and bussle of the day, a simple fall becomes just that - a simple fall. Therefore it would be normal to forget about it. Don't beat yourself up about it, you are a GREAT person and you always take good care of those children. Your messages about them shows that without a doubt. I know that your family knows that it wasn't on purpose...and I am certain she will be fine.

Yeah, but that is what parenting (or babysitting or child-rearing, etc) is all about - a learning experience. Kids don't come with user manuals, and lets face it, they can be difficult to take some days.

:( Wish I could help.
Hey, my son broke his arm while in my care...wasn't my fault, but I still feel bad about it...my husband still teases me about it.

Well, if you need me...I am here. Try and get some sleep...and keep me posted.
Take care, my friend.
